Colossal Head of Emperor Constantine
This colossal head of Emperor Constantine, five times life-size, was likely created shortly after his death in 337 AD. Originally placed in the Lateran, it was part of the bronzes donated by Pope Sixtus IV in 1471. The accompanying colossal bronze hand and globe may belong to the same statue, while the right bronze foot is attributed to a different work.
