Gardens of the Archives Nationales
Behind the Hôtel de Soubise, the Archives Nationales preserve a series of gardens that soften the monumental architecture with greenery. Lawns, groves, and fountains recall the aristocratic origins of these grounds while offering a tranquil refuge in the Marais. Once reserved for the Rohan-Soubise family, they now form a rare public space where history, memory, and nature coexist in the city center.
