Louis Vuitton Foundation opened in 2014 at the edge of the Bois de Boulogne as LVMH’s major act of private cultural patronage in Paris. Designed by Frank Gehry, its curved glass sails and pale, shifting volumes turn light, reflection, and movement into part of the experience, blurring the line between building and sculpture. Rotating exhibitions and a growing collection place global modern and contemporary art in dialogue with the city’s museum world, while the terraces frame views toward La Défense and Paris’s changing skyline.
