This ceiling (1545–46) combines painted grotesques and mythological scenes with a central stucco medallion. Depictions of Hercules, satyrs, and sea creatures surround the oculus, creating a theatrical cosmos where ancient myths celebrate heroism, transformation, and sensual fantasy in a vibrant Renaissance synthesis.
