Two ceremonial gold disks from the Diquís culture (700–1550) show contrasting visual vocabularies. One is modeled with raised concentric bosses; the other is edged with a crisp band of pointed triangles. Worn or displayed as elite regalia, they turn geometric design into a marker of rank and ritual presence.
