Ceremonial Flutes
These flutes (14–16th cc.), carved from stone and ceramic, were used in rituals at the sacred precinct of Tenochtitlan. Each produced distinct tones to summon gods, guide offerings, or accompany dance. More than instruments, they embodied sound as a sacred force—channeling divine presence through breath and music.
