Baroque Wooden Pulpit

This tall wooden pulpit (17th–18th cc.) shows a faceted drum rising on clustered supports and crowned by a projecting canopy. Carved panels, scrolls, and small figures frame the space from which sermons are delivered to the nave. The rich Baroque ornament, including angels, hybrid creatures, and heraldic motifs, demonstrates how preaching platforms combined theology with visual spectacle.
