Designed by André Le Nôtre (late 17th c.), this axial vista exemplifies French formal garden design. Max and Luis are approaching the Latona Fountain, inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses, which honors Louis XIV’s mother and divine lineage. Beyond it, the Grand Canal stretches toward the horizon, merging art, mythology, and royal propaganda in orchestrated landscape.
