The Chapultepec Fountain in Mexico City’s Chapultepec Park symbolizes the Nahuatl glyph for Chapultepec, meaning ’at the grasshopper hill.’ This large urban park has deep historical significance, having served as a sacred Aztec site, a military academy, and a presidential residence. It is home to Chapultepec Castle, which was pivotal during the 1847 Battle of Chapultepec in the Mexican-American War.
