This panel (early 16th c.) is a faithful copy of Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper , painted by his pupil Marco d’Oggiono. It isolates Christ at the moment he declares the coming betrayal. The work preserves details lost in the original fresco and reflects the deep influence of Leonardo’s composition and emotional realism on his followers.
