This close view (17th c.) shows clustered angels playing string and wind instruments amid layered clouds. The small copper support and fine glazes (thin translucent paint layers) let Brueghel’s detailed figures merge with Rottenhammer’s saturated color. The coordinated gestures and rising arrangement indicate how Baroque artists framed heavenly space as ordered and harmonious.
