This collaborative painting (early 17th c.) shows concentric ranks of angels circling a radiant divine light. Putti (cherubic child figures) and winged musicians move across dense clouds, while garlands of flowers frame the celestial space. Brueghel’s precise botanical motifs combine with Rottenhammer’s animated figures to articulate a Baroque vision of ordered, musical heaven.
