Martín de Soria’s Altarpiece of Saint Peter (c. 1480) is a rare Spanish altarpiece with 26 paintings. It features Saint Peter as pope, surrounded by scenes from his life. Crafted in tempera on panel with a parchment ground, it exemplifies medieval religious art. This work provides insight into the devotional practices and artistic traditions of late 15th-century Spain.
