This display (1000–1600) reconstructs the funerary adornments of high-ranking Muisca individuals, whose mummified bodies were often dressed with gold crowns, nose rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Worn together, the pieces read as a deliberate regalia rather than separate ornaments. They signaled sacred authority and elevated rank, underscoring the spiritual role of chiefs and shamans in life and death.
