阿波罗与达芙妮贝尔尼尼
这件巴洛克杰作（1622–1625）再现了奥维德神话的高潮：当阿波罗追逐达芙妮时，她向父亲呼救，并开始变成一棵月桂树。贝尼尼凝固了这一变形的瞬间——她的手指长出树叶，脚趾化为树皮扎根——在静止的大理石中传达出神性的戏剧性、感性的张力以及欲望的徒劳。
