奥斯提亚安提卡的古罗马公厕
这座厕所建在两间哈德良时期（公元117–138年）的店铺内，是奥斯提亚保存最完好的厕所之一。三面墙边原有二十个大理石座位，中间设有排水渠，前方有用于清洗海绵的水槽。靠墙处还有一个水盆，供人盥洗。门槛上的孔洞表明，这些座位曾配有可旋转的木盖，在公共使用中兼顾卫生与舒适。
