Cultural Transformation in Nasca Valley

56
During the Middle Horizon (600–1000 AD), the Río Nasca Valley experienced significant transformation due to Huari influence from Ayacucho. Nasca political structures and religious practices declined, replaced by Huari cosmology. Architecture evolved with terraced homes featuring stone and cane walls. Ceramics and textiles also changed, incorporating new materials and techniques. Huari dominance led to major cultural shifts, diminishing much of the Nasca legacy.
