This ceiling painting (18th c.) depicts Adam and Eve being cast from Eden by a fiery angel. Their bodies twist in fear and shame, while the serpent slithers below as witness to their fall. Gilded floral borders contrast paradise’s lost beauty with divine wrath, creating a cosmic drama of sin and exile overhead.
