يُصوّر كافاليير د’Arpino (جوزيبي تشيزاري) نوما بومبيليوس، ثاني ملوك روما، وهو يؤسّس عبادة العذارى الفستاليات في جداريته المؤرخة بين 1636 و1638. ويُنسب إلى نوما وضع هذا النظام من الكاهنات المكرّسات لفيستا، إلهة الموقد. وتُبرز اللوحة تداخل الدين والحكم في روما القديمة، مؤكدةً تأثير نوما في الحياة الروحية والمدنية الرومانية.
