Max Rinsing Off Salt at Lac Rose
After floating in the hypersaline waters of Senegal’s Lac Rose, visitors often rinse off near the shore. The lake’s salt content rivals that of the Dead Sea, leaving a thick residue on the skin. Local worker is assisting Max by pouring buckets of fresh water: hospitality meets the region’s salt-harvesting tradition.
