After a Swim in Lake Retba
Wrapped in towels after a saline swim, two bathers rest on a wooden boat on Lake Retba. The lake’s pale pink water—driven by halophilic algae and intense evaporation—sets off the palms and dunes along the shore. Long used for salt harvesting, it was also the historic finish of the Paris–Dakar Rally.
