Fragment of a Teotihuacán Deity Mask
This ceramic fragment (300–600) shows part of a large deity mask with a heavy brow, circular earspool, and rows of applied nodules around the mouth. The features suggest a Storm or War Serpent figure from Teotihuacán ritual imagery. Such masks attached to temple façades and altars, turning architectural surfaces into active divine presences in civic space.
