Painted on plaster during the Classic Period (300–600 AD), this mural from Teotihuacán depicts a feline—often interpreted as a puma or jaguar—set against a dynamic striped background. The creature’s claws and stride evoke power and movement, linking it to themes of strength, sacred force, and rulership in Mesoamerican cosmology.
