Monument to Simón BolívarLuis Alberto Acuña

Commissioned for the centenary of Simón Bolívar’s death (1930–31), this memorial pairs a marble bust of the Libertador with an allegorical stone figure holding a dedication tablet. Set amid the Quinta de Bolívar gardens, it is accompanied by plaques recalling key battles of independence and frames Bolívar within the shared civic memory of the independence era.
