This late 14th–early 15th c. Gothic sculpture is a carved and polychromed wooden piece from the Políptico de la Virgen de la Soledad, attributed to the Master of the Holy Blood, a Bruges school painter. The polyptych depicts the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin, including figures like Jeremiah, the Circumcision, and the Flight into Egypt. Its unique curvilinear architecture challenges identification within Flemish painting traditions.
