This work (2018) places horned, red-skinned aswang figures from Filipino folklore amid dense urban buildings, traffic cones, and a gridded facade. A uniformed figure holds a cage of chickens, recalling the aswang’s taste for livestock and hinting at predation hidden within authority. Nearby, a man with a paper bag over his head stands among abstract shapes and animal forms, so that mythic bodies and city infrastructure merge into a single field of unease.
