This richly decorated dining room reflects Acuña’s fusion of Colombian folk tradition with Renaissance and Baroque aesthetics. Its hand-painted ceiling is dense with mythological motifs, grotesques, and cherubs arranged as a fantastical cosmology. Ceramic plates, masks, and a mosaic village scene introduce local craft and narrative themes. The ensemble from the 1950s–70s embodies Acuña’s total design approach, where painting, architecture, and ethnographic elements form a unified artistic environment.
