Church of Veracruz
This colonial gem in Medellín’s city center is the Church of Veracruz, originally built in the late 17th c. and rebuilt in its current form in 1803. Once a burial site for the poor, the church now anchors a lively square where locals gather, street vendors set up shop, and urban life pulses around a fountain framed by volcanic stone columns.
