Church of Veracruz
Veracruz Church is a colonial-era survivor in central Medellin, founded in the late 17th c. and rebuilt in its present form in 1803. Long linked to charitable devotion, it once served as a burial place for the poor, giving its quiet interior a social history that reaches beyond architecture. The church still anchors its small square, where a fountain and dark stone columns frame street vendors and everyday gatherings, keeping faith and city life in close proximity.
