El Edén International Airport is the low-key air gateway to Armenia and Colombia’s Coffee Axis, where Andean ridges give way to cultivated slopes of the Coffee Cultural Landscape. Named for “Eden,” it frames arrival as entry into an interior shaped by coffee, migration, and strong regional identity rather than big-city spectacle. More than simple infrastructure, the airport ties small cities and farms to national routes, making its open tarmac a threshold between highland geography and everyday life.
