Museo Colonial Courtyard
This peaceful colonial courtyard (17th c.) belonged to the Jesuit Colegio Máximo de San Bartolomé, later transformed into Bogotá’s Museo Colonial. The whitewashed walls, red-tiled roofs, and barred windows reflect Spanish architectural traditions adapted to New Granada. Today, the museum preserves religious art and daily life artifacts from the colonial era, set within this historic space.
