Calle de la Fatiga
This steep street in La Candelaria shows whitewashed colonial houses with a continuous green wooden balcony and heavy roof beams. Its name Calle de la Fatiga (Fatigue Street) recalls the effort of climbing this route through Bogotá’s historic center. The preserved façades illustrate how Spanish urban forms adapted to Andean topography now serve as a visual record of daily life.
