这件精致的泰罗纳胸饰（公元900–1600年）描绘了一张人脸，佩戴大型耳饰和装饰性的鼻饰，两侧由刻有神圣图案的双新月形构件环绕。它很可能由酋长或祭司在圣玛尔塔内华达山脉举行仪式时佩戴，用以体现神圣权威和祖先力量。
