St. Nicholas Church
This former Benedictine abbey church (12th–13th cc.) shows tall Gothic spires, steep slate roofs, and a compact cluster of chapels above the town. Its position beside the royal château underlines the historical alignment of monastic and princely authority. Surviving war and fire, it continues to structure both the spiritual and civic landscape of Blois.
