Ruined Hamlet

The stone walls and chimney of a vanished hamlet emerge when Lake Guerlédan is drained. Once part of a farming valley, the houses were abandoned as the dam (1923–30) flooded the Blavet. Now ruins rise among reeds and cracked earth, recalling lives uprooted by hydroelectric progress. They stand as fragile witnesses to Brittany’s rural past reshaped by modern industry.
