Diquís Gold Disks
These ceremonial gold disks from the Diquís culture (700–1550 AD) showcase distinct visual languages. One bears raised circular forms, possibly evoking celestial or protective symbols. The other features a geometric border of pointed triangles, suggesting solar radiance. Both served as elite regalia linking power, cosmos, and ritual identity.
