West Facade
This soaring view captures the west front of Reims Cathedral (13th c.), adorned with layers of sculpted portals, saints, angels, and kings. Its Gothic towers rise above a forest of figures narrating biblical stories. Once the coronation church of French monarchs, the facade embodied both heavenly order and royal legitimacy, a stone testament to sacred kingship.
