Bellangenet BeachPlage de Bellangenet
Bellangenet Beach is a broad Atlantic strand at Le Pouldu in Clohars-Carnoët, where pale sand, low dunes, and granite outcrops show how Brittany’s coastline is continually remade by wind and tide. Long tied to fishing hamlets and everyday work along the shore, it also sits within the wider Pont-Aven cultural landscape that drew late 19th c. painters, including Paul Gauguin, to this part of the coast. For locals it remains a familiar edge of land and sea—bracing, changeable, and quietly defining.
