Palace DomeGéza Maróti
The stained-glass dome (1904-34) crowns the Palacio de Bellas Artes combining neoclassical structure with Art Deco ornament. The iron framework and amber panels form a radiant geometric sunburst. Designed by Hungarian artisan Géza Maróti, the dome symbolizes enlightenment and creative ascent—the civic and spiritual ideals of post-revolutionary Mexico.
