Posada San Agustín

Posada San Agustín is a small house-museum in Tunja that preserves the feel of the city’s colonial-era domestic architecture. Whitewashed rooms, heavy timber elements, and interior patios frame displays of household furnishings and everyday objects, giving a concrete sense of how private life was arranged and how Spanish and local traditions met in material culture. Moving from room to room, the building becomes part of the collection: a compact sequence of spaces shaped by climate, craft, and habit.
