Façade of the Cathedral
The cathedral’s stone façade (mid 18th c.) blends Baroque and Mudejar influences. Paired towers and rhythmic vertical pilasters evoke Spanish-American ecclesiastical style, while white stucco trim accentuates the textured volcanic rock. This imposing entrance reflects the city’s former status as Antioquia’s capital and spiritual hub.
