Max and Jelena are warmly welcomed by brother Marie-André Faye, a Benedictine monk at Keur Moussa Monastery. Founded in 1961 by French monks, the monastery is famed for its blend of Gregorian chant with African instruments, especially the kora. It remains a spiritual and cultural beacon in West Africa.
