Fishermen’s Property Marks

Riga fishermen used these carved stone weights (12-13th cc.) with unique signs to mark tools and belongings. These house or property symbols helped identify ownership. Found near Peļu and Ūdensvada streets, the signs reveal varying complexity and local symbolic traditions.
