Winged Griffin
This griffin, with its curved beak, feathered wings, and powerful limbs, adorns the richly decorated Gundestrup Cauldron (150 BC - 1 AD). Blending Celtic and Thracian iconography, the creature evokes divine guardianship and mythic strength. The cauldron’s ornate panels likely served ceremonial or sacrificial purposes.
