El gran dije muestra a un chamán (700–1500) que lleva una máscara de animal y un amplio tocado, probablemente invocando una transformación espiritual. La incrustación oscura sugiere un significado ritual. Los dijes laterales representan seres animales o híbridos estilizados, reforzando los temas de poder, metamorfosis y conexión entre los ámbitos humano y sobrenatural en la creencia de Diquís.
