Hunter with Bow Petroglyph

549
This petroglyph from Cholpon-Ata (8th c. BC–5th c. AD) depicts a hunter drawing a bow. Such imagery illustrates the central role of hunting in early nomadic lifeways, reflecting both daily survival and spiritual belief in the power of humans to control nature through ritual and skill.
