This Tolima culture terracotta mask (5th–10th cc.) served ritual purposes. The eye and mouth perforations indicate it was worn, possibly by shamans. Its stylized features reflect Tolima ideals of sacred transformation, connecting the wearer with spiritual forces during ceremonies.
