Stalin’s Birthplace

This small wooden house with a simple porch in Gori is the birthplace of Joseph Stalin (1878). Preserved within the museum complex, it shows the modest living conditions of his early family life. The structure’s plain materials and tight rooms underline the contrast between his origins and his later role as Soviet leader.
