Hemingway’s Pool and Garden
Built in the late 1930s, this was the first in-ground pool in Key West—and an extravagance at $20,000. Surrounded by lush palms and whimsical decorations, it reflects Hemingway’s taste for both rugged charm and tropical indulgence. Nearby, his six-toed cats still roam the grounds, descendants of his beloved pets.
