Remains of a Roman Vaulted Structure

This ruined vaulted structure (2nd–4th cc.) reflects Roman architectural mastery in post-Punic North Africa. Built with rubble masonry, it once supported a utilitarian space. In the background rises the Malek Ibn Anas Mosque, linking Tunisia’s layered past—from imperial Rome to Islamic heritage.
